Mike joined the Royal Navy in 1948 and served 23 years before leaving the RN in 1972.

Mike then completed 20 years with Her Majesty’s Customs and Excise.

On return to the Portsmouth Area in 1989, Mike joined the Royal Naval Association Waterlooville Branch.

1995 - Area Delegate for Waterlooville Branch

1996 - Branch Secretary

2001 - Area 3 Treasurer to date.
